Meyer Shank Racing and SiriusXM Set to Host Rock Icon Jon Bon Jovi at INDYCAR Season Opener

Jon Bon Jovi’s Race Day Experience Highlighted by Fastest Seat in Sports Driven by Helio Castroneves

Pataskala, Ohio (28 February 2024) – Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) and SiriusXM have once again collaborated for a big weekend of entertainment and INDYCAR racing with Jon Bon Jovi set to participate in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg (March 10, NBC, 12:00pm ET, SiriusXM Ch. 218)

The Grammy Award winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will make his INDYCAR debut in a big way on the March 9-10 weekend. In collaboration with MSR’s co-primary sponsor, SiriusXM, Bon Jovi’s SiriusXM channel, Bon Jovi Radio, will be featured on the side pod of Felix Rosenqvist’s No. 60 AutoNation / SiriusXM Indy car for both the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and the $1 Million Challenge at Thermal (March 24).

In addition to seeing his name on the INDYCAR grid for back-to-back races, Jon Bon Jovi is set to ride in the INDYCAR Fastest Seat in Sports at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg which will be driven by four-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Helio Castroneves. Outfitted in a custom Bon Jovi Radio fire suit, Jon Bon Jovi and Castroneves will lead the field to the green flag in the series’ two-seater Indy car on Sunday, March 10.

Rosenqvist’s No. 60 AutoNation / SiriusXM Honda will make its INDYCAR debut in Florida for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, March 10th (NBC, 12:00pm ET). As the Official Satellite Radio Partner of INDYCAR, SiriusXM will air live race coverage on the SiriusXM INDYCAR Nation channel, available to listeners in their cars, (channel 218) and on the SiriusXM app.
