(PHOENIX) February 25, 2016 – To celebrate the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500, Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka is releasing two commemorative, limited-edition bottles of vodka. In support of this momentous occasion, Ed Carpenter Racing  (ECR) will feature a special Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka paint scheme for the No. 21 Chevrolet driven by Josef Newgarden. The special paint scheme depicting the commemorative bottle was unveiled today on social media, prior to Friday and Saturday’s Verizon IndyCar Series test at Phoenix International Raceway.
“I’m so excited to be able to represent Fuzzy’s Vodka,” stated Josef Newgarden.  “They’re a great partner and are very engaged in the Verizon IndyCar Series, but also with everything we’re doing at ECR. It’s going to be very cool to run the 100th Running Edition bottle on my car leading up to the month of May.  The car is absolutely gorgeous! Hopefully we can put some good results up on the board for Fuzzy’s and head into the Indianapolis 500 strong!”
Beginning in early April, Fuzzy’s Vodka will be releasing the two commemorative bottles.  The first will be a 750ml bottle paying homage to the history of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and past Indianapolis 500 winners. For the second bottle, Fuzzy’s has created a truly unique vodka that has been filtered through charcoal and lava 100 times, presented in a 1.75 liter bottle. The 750ml bottle has a suggested retail of $24.99 and the 100 times filtered 1.75L has a suggested retail of $100. Online retailers may be found at www.fuzzyvodka.com.
“We couldn’t ask for a better fit for our brand,” said Jason Butts, Marketing Manager of Fuzzy’s Spirits LLC.  “To have our ultra premium vodka available to race fans in a way that celebrates one of the most prestigious racing events in history is truly exhilarating.  We hope this year will be a defining moment for not only our brand, but also for Ed Carpenter Racing and all INDYCAR fans.”
Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka first sponsored Ed Carpenter’s entry in the 2010 Indianapolis 500 and has been involved with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500 for the past five years. The Indiana-based spirits brand was founded by local Hoosier and two-time major-champion golfer Fuzzy Zoeller.

“Being involved with Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka over the past five years has been a true blessing,” commented Ed Carpenter, the only owner/driver in the Verizon IndyCar Series.  “Their support of our team and the Verizon IndyCar Series has been amazing.  Seeing the new bottles for this May and the paint scheme honoring it is something that we are all proud of and can’t wait to share with the rest of the racing community.”
The 100th Running paint scheme will be on Newgarden’s car for the first four races of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series season. Carpenter will be the driver of the No. 20 Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka Chevrolet for ECR at all oval events, including the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
