We’re also thrilled that Belle Isle and the Detroit and Windsor waterfronts will shine brightly once again on a national stage on back-to-back days, live on ABC. We want to thank Chevrolet, Quicken Loans and our many partners, along with our fans, for making this great event possible.”
The 2016 Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans will mark the fourth consecutive year that Belle Isle welcomes two INDYCAR races in one action-packed weekend. It will also be the 27th Grand Prix hosted in the city of Detroit with the first race on the downtown streets in 1982 and the event moving to Belle Isle Park in 1992.
