Luca Filippi managed to take the checkered flag in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in 22nd position, despite an issue early in the race when the car stalled entering the pit lane. It was Filippi’s first race in the streets of Long Beach.

Josef Newgarden added a 7th place finish to the books after today’s Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, his best finish of the season and best finish in his four starts in Long Beach.
