Nano ProMT Bring Protection & Performance To Daly & Byrd Team

Jonathan Byrd’s Racing logo

Greenwood, IN – After a tremendous experience as a sponsor of Conor Daly and the Dale Coyne Racing #18 Honda for the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500, Jonathan Byrd’s Racing is excited to announce that Nano ProMT has extended its relationship with Conor Daly and will appear as a primary sponsor on the Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality & Restaurant Group/Cancer Treatment Centers of America Honda IndyCar at this weekend’s Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Nano ProMT (www.nanopromt.com), based in Mint Hill, NC, provides high performance lubricants that are military tough and military tested. Nano ProMT’s full line of nano material based lubricants are designed to provide superior performance in the harshest environments and under the most extreme conditions. Nano ProMT products convert sliding friction to rolling friction, for reduced wear, less heat, and higher efficiency.

Nano ProMT performs in the most extreme industries and applications, including heavy-wear machinery and hardware. With extended use over time and prolonged exposure to high heat, standard lubricants break down and stop protecting. Nano ProMT’S specially engineered nanoparticles eliminate these problems, delivering superior penetration for complete coverage that protects longer without altering any dimensional surface tolerance.

Nano ProMT CEO, Andrew Hough, talked about the extension of their relationship with Conor Daly: “Nano ProMT is extremely excited about being a sponsor and partner with Conor Daly, Dale Coyne Racing, and Jonathan Byrd’s Racing.  Conor’s racing pedigree, his marketability, and mainly his humble yet confident personality make it very easy to want to pull for and support him.  Nano ProMT is committed to being a long-term sponsor and partner with Conor. We are looking forward to being part of Conor’s great success in life and in Indy Car.”

Conor Daly shared his thoughts: “I’ve had a great relationship with the guys at Nano ProMT ever since Long Beach last year and was pumped to be able to bring them on board for Indy.  Their support has been huge for me and I couldn’t be happier to see them with a bigger presence on my car for this weekend’s race in Texas and to representing them for the balance of the IndyCar season and beyond.”

To both Andrew and Conor’s comments David Byrd added “We had a chance to meet Andrew (Hough – CEO) and Chris (Hunter – COO) on race day at Indy, and we hit it off immediately.  Not only do they have a great set of products and a great story to tell with and a fantastic future ahead of them, but their enthusiasm for Conor is infectious and exciting.  We’re proud to be able to bring them into the fold of partners for the Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality & Restaurant Group/Cancer Treatment Centers of America IndyCar, and we intend to deliver the same type of performance, both on and off track, that will sufficiently reward their confidence in Conor and the team while also matching the performance that Nano ProMT consistently delivers to its customers.”

Nano ProMT partners with Aviation Missile Research Development Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM), Boeing Phantom Works, Condition Base Maintenance (CBM), PM Blackhawk, PM Apache and The University of South Carolina to research and develop the most cutting edge and technologically advanced nano material based lubricants in the world.

The Nano ProMT range of products includes Nano Cool Premium Coolant, Dry Lubricant, Penetrating Lubricant, High Temp High Pressure Grease, Marine Grease, Oil Stabilizer, Gear Oil, Universal Hydraulic Fluid Additive, and Corrosion Reducing Fuel Stabilizer (coming soon).  Nano ProMT products can be purchased at Southern States, The Home Depot, and Lowes (Fall 2016).

Byrd Team Opens Window To Success With McComb & Pella

Jonathan Byrd’s Racing logo

Greenwood, IN – The easily recognizable logo of a national brand has had a prominent position on the sidepod of Bryan Clauson’s Cancer Treatment Centers of America #88 Honda since the first day of practice for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, as Pella Corporation, in partnership with McComb Window & Door, has joined the Dale Coyne/Jonathan Byrd’s Racing team.

Founded in 1925 and headquartered in Pella, Iowa, Pella Corporation (www.pella.com) designs and manufactures made-to-order and custom windows, doors, blinds and shades and offers services for almost every type of home or building being built today.

Bill McComb, President of McComb Window & Door Company, spoke briefly to this new partnership, saying “McComb Window & Door is excited to be a sponsor of Jonathan Byrd’s Racing.  We have quickly developed and come to enjoy a fantastic business relationship with the Byrd family and the Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality & Restaurant Group, and are very much looking forward to success on the racetrack and many future endeavors together.”

To Bill’s thoughts, Bryan Clauson added: “These guys keep on me giving me more sponsors to remember, but I suppose that’s a pretty good problem for a driver to have.  I’m always encouraged when we add supporters, and when I look at our car and my driving suit, I can’t imagine another guy out here that should be as encouraged as me!  That Pella logo looks great on our IndyCar, and I expect it’s also going to look really good on our winged sprint car later this summer at Knoxville Raceway, when we go race right down the road from their headquarters.”

Jonathan Byrd rounded things out, saying: “Being able to represent a company like Pella through our relationship with Bill and everybody at McComb Window & Door Company, is obviously quite an honor.  Continuing to add partners, and especially partners with the kind of profile, history, and heritage of Pella, provides additional validation to our program and the model on which we are continuing to build our motorsports platform.”

With 11 manufacturing locations within the United States, Pella Corporation also includes EFCO Corporation, a manufacturer of architectural windows, curtain walls, storefronts and entry systems designed for commercial construction needs, and Grabill Windows & Doors Inc., designer and manufacturer of custom luxury windows and doors for elite properties. Recently, Pella Corporation opened the Pella Crafted Luxury Showroom with expanded design possibilities.  Follow Pella on FacebookYouTubeHouzz, Instagram and Pinterest and Twitter @Pella_News.

Context Creates Design For Success With Byrd Team

Jonathan Byrd’s Racing logo

Greenwood, IN –With Bryan Clauson’s Dale Coyne/Jonathan Byrd’s Racing machine just days away from taking to the track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to begin practice for the 100th running of the Greatest Spectacle In Racing, Jonathan Byrd’s Racing is pleased to introduce another partner to their effort, in the form of Context Design.

Context Design (www.context-design.com) was established in 1998 as a small, client-focused landscape architecture and land planning firm near Indianapolis, Indiana. Context’s award-winning site design studio is passionate about helping clients to create meaningful spaces and experiences that connect people to the land.  As the company has evolved over 18 years of practice, the studio’s reach now includes projects in the Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest regions of the country. While the size and capacity of the firm has certainly grown, its focus on delivering excellent service has remained.

“Context Design is excited to be a part of this incredible celebration—the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500!  The opportunity to extend our business relationship with the Byrd family through Jonathan Byrd’s Racing is such a natural fit,” indicated Alyssa Prazeau, Managing Partner of Context.

Fred Prazeau, Partner with Context, added, “Above all else, we are a company built upon relationships. While getting to know the Byrd family as we have worked together on some of their exciting new projects, it became clear to us that the shared values of our companies could transcend site design projects.”

Fred continued: “I have vivid memories as a youngster of how racing in May captivated the spirit of our entire community. Whether it was watching dirt fly with Gurney, Vogler, and Bettenhausen at the ‘Hoosier Hundred’ or hearing Tom Carnegie chant, ‘It’s a new track record,’ as Rick Mears or Tom Sneva blazed across the yard of bricks, everyone was immersed in the spectacle of racing. It is our pleasure to play a small part in this big anniversary for IMS and the Indianapolis community along with Jonathan Byrd Racing.”

Bryan Clauson echoed the sentiments expressed by Fred Prazeau: “Every year, the Indy 500 is a celebration, and there’s nothing in the world like it.  This year though, the energy around the event is reaching a level that I’ve never seen, and it’s awesome to see so many people and companies wanting to have a role in it.  I think that’s especially evidenced by what you are seeing with our program for Indy.  I’m excited to welcome Fred, Alyssa and everyone at Context Design to the Jonathan Byrd’s team, and I can’t wait to get on track on May 16th!”

Continuing that theme, team principal David Byrd added, “Over the last several months, I’ve come to learn that Context Design is an absolute leader in their field, so being able to add them to our program, and to experience their enthusiasm to not only be involved in the Indy 500 but also their excitement to be joining our team, is pretty gratifying.  We’ll do our absolute best to reward their trust in us!”

Over the last several years, Context has worked with the Town of Speedway on a variety of parks, streetscape, and mixed-use developments. “Being involved in meaningful redevelopment projects is an important part of our mission. We have been fortunate to collaborate on both public and private reinvestment projects happening in Speedway, and we look forward to seeing how those investments reshape the community,” stated Greg Wade, Principal of the firm.

Bryan Clauson talked about the newly upgraded relationship with Sports 1430, saying: “I’m a big sports fan, so it’s awesome to bring a local sports station like Sports 1430 into the fold with the team.  They were kind of involved with us last year, with Kent Sterling broadcasting from our garage every day during May and me talking with Kent each day as the official/unofficial driver analyst for the month of May, so I’m happy to see us able to formalize and step up the relationship and get them in the race with us.  It should be a good deal for everyone.”

“Indy is not only an international event and the world’s largest single day sporting event, but it’s also a local sporting event that very much defines and gives shape to this community” said David Byrd, “so it makes a tremendous amount of sense for a local sports radio station to come on board with our team and capitalize on what we can provide to them.  We’re excited to name Sports 1430 the Official Sports Station of Jonathan Byrd’s Racing and look forward to carrying their banner into competition with us next month and hopefully for years to come.”

University Loft Company (www.uloft.com) is a contract furniture manufacturer that provides quality furniture with care.  From home bases in Greenfield, Indiana and Morristown, Tennessee, University Loft Company serve colleges, the military, multi-family units, and hotels worldwide.  Born from a dream in the heart of its founder to make the most out of his small dorm room, the loft bed was developed by founder and CEO, James Jannetides.  Nearly 30 years later, University Loft Company is a global leader in dorm room, campus life, and apartment furnishings, along with military housing.

In addition to the University Loft Company logo, beginning with this weekend’s Verizon IndyCar Series Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix at Phoenix International Raceway, Conor Daly’s Dale Coyne Racing Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality & Restaurant Group/Cancer Treatment Centers of America Honda IndyCar will carry branding for the LOFT furniture company (www.loftfurnitureoutlet.com) and Loft Motors (www.loftmotors.com).

University Loft Company’s relationship with the Jonathan Byrd’s team is a comprehensive multi-platform sponsorship, so in addition to prominent placement on Conor Daly’s IndyCar, the University Loft Company logo will be featured across the entire Jonathan Byrd’s Racing program, with this including featured placement on Bryan Clauson’s Indy 500 entry, winged and non-wing sprint cars, USAC Silver Crown car, and midget racecar for the balance of his Chasing 200 Tour.

“University Loft Company loves racing!” exclaimed founder and CEO James Jannetides.  “Being back in the game with the Jonathan Byrd’s team is exhilarating, and everyone at University Loft is pumped to be back in the race.  This is obviously a huge year for IndyCar with the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, and we can feel the excitement in the air.  It’s an honor and privilege to be able to support Conor Daly for the IndyCar season and Bryan Clauson at Indy and just about every race track in the country as he chases his amazing dream season.  We’ve been making history in our business since we started this company, and we can’t wait to be part of a historical event this May and a historical year for Bryan.”

James went on to add “We’ve been in racing before, had a good experience, and have always wanted to get involved again.  Finding the right set of people to represent our brand is paramount, and we’ve found that with the Byrd family, Bryan Clauson, Conor Daly, everyone at Dale Coyne Racing, and all of the partners across the entire Jonathan Byrd’s Racing family.  We are a company with ethics, and for us, integrity is more than a word.  We manufacture furniture the right way, and this whole group is going about the business of racing the right way as well.  As a leader in the furniture industry, University Loft operates by a high standard of ethics while bringing innovative ideas to contract furniture, and we see the same high standards, innovation, and integrity in the Jonathan Byrd’s Racing program.  Because of that, we’re definitely looking forward to a long-term, sustainable relationship that will bring a great deal of benefits to University Loft Company.”

Byrd Team Bailed Out With Newest Sponsor

Jonathan Byrd’s Racing logo

Greenwood, IN – Jonathan Byrd’s Racing, which will be attempting to place Bryan Clauson in the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 in partnership with Dale Coyne Racing, is pleased to announce its newest sponsor — Murello’s Uptown Bail Bonds.

Murello’s Uptown Bail Bonds, in Noblesville, IN, is a family owned and operated business located across from the Hamilton County Courthouse. Since 2008, Murello’s has specialized in bail bonds, surety bonds, warrant surrenders, OWI, and criminal arrests, servicing all central Indiana jails.

Founder and owner of Murello’s Uptown Bail Bonds, Joe Murello, expressed his enthusiasm for the announcement of their return to the Byrd team for the 100th Indianapolis 500, by saying “I couldn’t be happier!  These are exciting times!  We’re going to be part of the Indy 500 again with some great people.  Even though I’m confident that I’m never going to be able to make any money off of the Byrd’s or Bryan Clauson, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be returning to Indy with them.”

Bryan Clauson shared his thoughts: “It gets crazy around Indy during May, and we all know that some times and places get a bit crazier than others.  We want to make sure that, even if someone happens to get into a bit of trouble during the month of May, that they can still make it to the race by working through Murello’s.  In all seriousness though, Joe’s excitement in contagious, and even though I hope I’m never in a position to need his services, I couldn’t be happier to be able to bring a Noblesville business to Indy again.”

“We brought Murello’s Uptown Bail Bonds on last year just a few days before the race, and Joe had a great experience” said Jonathan Byrd, “so when it came time to talk about this year and the 100th Indy 500, Joe told me that he definitely wanted to be involved again and that he was doubling his commitment.  Apparently business has been good!  I’m not sure whether to be pleased or troubled by that, but either way, we want to be the team that this community comes to in order to participate at Indy and have a great experience.  As Joe indicated, I don’t ever plan on giving him any business, but it’s good to know where to go, should the need arise.”

Servicing Hamilton, Marion, Boone, Madison, and Hancock counties, and located directly across from the courthouse in Noblesville, Indiana, Murello’s Uptown Bail Bonds provides 24/7 service for Bail Bonds, Warrant Turn-In, Security Bonds, Warrant Surrender, Bonds, Bail, OWI Bonds, and Criminal Bonds.

    • Long Beach’s Grand Prix report is $150K worth of obvious points
That report was made public Monday afternoon, and it’s loaded with an absence of surprises, although there are a few bits of weirdness involved. • Rick Mears – still the ultimate pro at 65

One of that trio is Rick Ravon Mears, born this day 65 years ago in Wichita, Kansas, and brought up in Bakersfield, Calif. […]

Paul Conor Dana, at age 9, knows that his father was Paul Dana, a journalist and IndyCar driver who died in March 2006 during […]
