BUY CANDY CANE TREE ORNAMENT TO BENEFIT SALVATION ARMY

INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 – Race fans visiting the IMS Online Store and Brickyard Authentics Gift Shop locations during the holiday season can purchase a candy cane tree ornament to benefit charity through Shop For A Cause program.

The candy ornaments cost $3 each, with $2 from each sale being donated to The Salvation Army. The ornaments can be purchased from the IMS Online Store (store.indianapolismotorspeedway.com) and Brickyard Authentics Gift Shops located in the IMS Hall of Fame Museum and in Civic Plaza at the Indianapolis International Airport.

Shop For A Cause is a year-round program featuring items at the IMS Online Store and Brickyard Authentics locations that fans can purchase to help charitable causes in their community. Click on the Shop For A Cause tab at the IMS Online Store to see items that benefit charities, including Fisher House, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and The Salvation Army.
