Belle Isle - Saturday - 8:10am

Good morning from a very foggy Belle Isle Park, where the IndyCar Series is scheduled to have practice and qualifying for tomorrow's Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. It's so foggy when we can in we couldn't see from Turn 2 to Turn 3 - and we were told that was an improvement over conditions earlier this morning.
Here is the schedule that we have been told will be changed due to the fog. What could make a change problematic is that today is a very packed schedule, with the ALMS race a live broadcast on Speed Channel, so that can't be pushed back.
8:30-9:30 IndyCar Practice - 30 mins each group
11:30 IndyCar Qualifying
We do have one driver change, with Alex Tagliani stepping in for Enrique Bernoldi. Bernoldi is still feeling the after-effects of the thumb injury he experienced at Infineon Raceway last week. From the press release: "I couldn't give my all today because of my left hand. I was turning into the pits with just one hand on the steering wheel and was unable to do my best. The track is bumpy and it was really hard on my hand. I hate having to miss a race, but I prefer leaving the car to Alex Tagliani this weekend while I rest up my hand in order for it to get better."
