MUSEUM HOURS: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for fans 6-15 years old, with children under 5 free. Gate admission to the Indianapolis 500 is not included in Museum admission and must be purchased separately.

10:30 a.m.: 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race Preview with Mark Miles, Doug Boles, Allison Melangton and A.J. Foyt, Economaki Press Conference Room

11:30 a.m.: Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Press Conference, Media Center, Fourth Floor
Sam Schmidt and Ric Peterson will announce James Hinchcliffe’s replacement in the No. 5 Arrow Electronics car for the 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Schmidt and Peterson will also be available to answer questions.

Noon: Henry Ford hosts Lotus-Ford Panel in Honor of 50th Anniversary of Groundbreaking Indy Win, MotoGP Garage 19
Panel includes three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti, Leonard Wood, co-founder of Wood Brothers Racing, the team that served as the vehicle’s pit crew in 1965 and Clive Chapman, managing director of Classic Team Lotus.

1-3 p.m.:  Indianapolis 500 Media Day
All 33 drivers competing in the 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500 will be available for interviews in the IMS Pagoda Plaza Pavilion 3. Each driver will be available for an hour in one of two groups. The Group 1 session is from 1-2 p.m., with Group 2 from 2-3 p.m.

4 p.m.: Exclusive Indianapolis 500 Tasting Event, Alley Café adjacent to Pagoda Plaza
Led by Chef Jonathan Williams, the IMS culinary team welcomes media to an exclusive food tasting event, previewing the new menu served during the Indianapolis 500. Sample house-smoked BBQ and Hoosier state specialties, hear from the man behind the menu and learn what it takes to feed the masses during America’s premier racing event. The event will begin with opening remarks by Chef Williams, who will be available for one-on-one interviews.

7-9 p.m.: Last Row Party, IMS Panasonic Pagoda
Indianapolis Press Club Foundation event showcasing the Last Row of qualifiers for the 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Indianapolis Press Club. Three journalism scholarships will be presented.

6:30-10 p.m. The Yellow Party, Indiana State Museum, 650 West Washington St., Indianapolis
Racing for Cancer’s largest fundraising event featuring a cocktail party, a silent auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. and a live auction starting at 8:15 p.m.
